An Application And Reach To The Distributive Database In MCAI

Network has become the fundamental basis in today's informative society and human beings depend on the network to a great extent. Network teaching is a kind of digital learning environment based on the computer, the multi-media, the network, hypertext and hyper-media technologies. Network resources have increased the significance of cognitive subject knowledge by means of hypertext managing information with the connection of Link and Node; they also meet thinking characteristics and reading habits of human beings through non-linear, reticular hypertext managing information at different levels on the construction network. All kinds of information can be stored in Node, including text, sound and pictures. Link shows the connection among different nodes. Thus the distributive multimedia database on the basic of network teaching comes into being, and the distributive database managing system has also become one of the important developments of today's database technology. The main characters of network teaching model involve the sharing of teaching resources and the systemization of teaching information. The multimedia material base is the digital storing media for traditional resources in long-distance teaching. Actually it is also the resource center for the teachers teaching and students'learning. Nowadays research on the source base for network teaching focuses on multimedia technology, multimedia database and distributive database technology. The paper mainly deals with the transferring and storing of teaching materials, the system of whole-text searching and information issuing. Multimedia service paper concerns the whole-text searching and how to maintain the consistency and safety of the database. The chief findings lie in as follows: 1. The technique of data retrieval based on XML and the implementation regulation. 2. The same and different between the relative database and multimedia database. 3.Ensuring the security of data by means of transferring and exchanging data and using intermediate component and multimedia database system; ensuing the integrity and consistency of multimedia data distributive in different construction environment by means of different component control and the resumption of mechanism.
