Along with the explosion of Internet, the traditional server-based computing model has the problems such as capability bottleneck and center invalidation in resources sharing. As a new computing model P2P can nicely solve those problems,but it isn't a mature technology,there are two key problems in resources location:one is how to localize the peer,the other is how to traverse NAT and firewall.Those two problems affect the abroad application of P2P,so how to build a complete, efficient and scaleable location mechanism is worth researching.This paper does research on location mechanism of P2P newwork and uses Jxta put forward by Sun as the platform of applying, aiming to build a efficient,open and good-operation P2P application.Firstly,the advantages and disadvantages of all the existing technologies of location and traversing NAT and firewall are analyzed,pointing out none of those ways can provide the whole solution;Secondly, location mechanism of JXTA is analyzed,pointing out the advantage of JXTA is combining many location and traversing ways,having a good ability in whole,but JXTA has the disadvantages on DHT Algorithm of SRDI,the response time of search,location way in peergroup and superpeer mechanism.In order to improve those disadvantages,a new jxta-based hierarchical hybrid location solution model is put forward,including designing way, hierarchical structure and relative strategy;then the key technologies and ways are expatiated in detail including Chord Algorithm, location and traversing and system security;Finally, this paper gives an example to demonstrate to prove implement the system.The research of this paper provides useful references for developing resources location mechanism in the future,it also advances the research on P2P based on JXTA and has reference value to the research of JXTA.
