| Image-based virtual reality navigation system is a virtual space with 3D operational capability with the real scene image taken by cameras and videos taken by video cameras as basic figures. The media information related to time and space is integrated in this space, which is different from the traditional virtual space based on computer graphics. As a science of time, the development of virtual reality space begins from application. The related theory and technique research have been deepened through application. Despite the appearance of some products like and Surround Video, there is still no powerful support in the research of theory and technique. It has become the main factors containing the development of IBVS. To create an ideal IBVS, the following problems to be solved.1. to put forward a image-base virtual reality theory and method to realize free navigation. To research the characteristics, classification, composition as well as the organization and operation mode of time and space. To solve the problems of the free navigation of image-based virtual reality, the operation of the objects of image-based virtual reality and the obtaining of various multimedia information of the scenes.2. having researched the construction method of spherical image-based virtual reality, solved the question of the limitation of scope of cylindrical image-based virtual reality, realized the omni directional observation of the virtual space. With 3D composed scene as background, researched the shooting of the scene, the construction, storage and navigation of spherical panoramic image, constructed a virtual space, which has met the demand for looking up and down while navigation. Having researched the method of shooting scene with fish-eye lens for real scenes, analyzed projection mode of fish-eye lens, put forward the method of constructing spherical panoramic image by using fish-eye lens, constructed spherical image-based virtual reality.3. having established space-time relations between moving virtual objects and view points dynamic image-based virtual reality in dynamic image-based virtual reality. Having researched the construction methods of dynamic image-based virtual reality as well as the space-time relations between moving 3D virtual objects and user view points, established space-time relations mode, which provide a theoretical foundation for the free navigation of dynamic image-based virtual reality. |
