The Research And Development Of Computer Assessing System Of Teacher's Teaching Quality Based On Browser/Server Architecture

As generally known, teaching is the regular and central work in Higher Education Institutions, and the evaluation of teaching quality is one of the most important component of teaching administration, also that is the major instrument of improving teaching quality and effectas the china's higher education is developing, reform on the education system, administration, etc is being thoroughly carried out, teacher's teaching quality is a problem which urgently awaits to study and solve, and it exhibits importantly realistic significance.Following the principles of science, maturity, feasibility and confidence, the author established the teacher's teaching quality evaluation index systems for our university, confirmed the weight of student's , experts' and administrators' evaluation, provided the tables for various purpose includes student, class-teaching, experiment-teaching, clinic-teaching, drew up teacher's teaching quality synthetic evaluation means for our university, developed computer assessing system based on Browser / Server architecture. During the process of establishing the index system, we preliminarily ensured some elementary index by prophase study and literature summarization and further defined 29 indexes of 5 kinds through experts' inquiry for two times with the guidance of Dlephi's technique. Also, we evaluate the weights of these indexes by turns. We set some elastic indexes in the systems, which may help to solve some over-formal problems. Furthermore, we build up an information database, which set a base to improve the evaluation efficiency and develop the web evaluations.This system is advantageous for the leaders, the experts and the students who need to evaluate the teaching quality .It causes teachers to understand their own teaching level comprehensively and concretely, to inspect and discover their deficiencies, to improve promptly.lt is also advantageous for administration which inspect teaching effectively and scientifically. It provides the accurate reliable theory basis in order to advance the teaching quality control system, promote teaching level and quality, raises teacher's teaching level and the teaching quality, bring up development outstanding talented person which has the innovation spirit and the practice ability. And it will be the turning point, strengthens the work of bringing up talented person, macroscopic administration and instruction furtherly. Promotes various departments to support the work of talented person's raise. According to the rules of education, impels the university to clear the guiding ideology of operating unceasingly, persist innovation of education, deepen reform, consolidate basic construction, strengthen teaching administration, enhance the teaching quality and benefit comprehensively.
