On The Dissemination Mechanism Of Public Information

With the development of society informationization, public information is becomingnational strategic resource. Public information development and utilization is useful toimprove the management efficiency, to create favorable environment for the public and toguarantee the public's Right to Know. However, the difference in the standard of living, inthe channels of information access and in the information literacy results that the publiccouldn't access and utilize public information. Therefore, the value of public informationcan't work. In order to have a chance of freely and equally accessing to public information,the thesis discusses the dissemination mechanism of public information from the angle ofinformation channels. By the increasing of public information communicators andenlarging of channels for the dissemination of public information, public information canbe disseminated abroad and the value of information can be achieved. In this thesis, firstly,some basic problems about the dissemination mechanism of public information arediscussed, for example, the concepts of public information and dissemination mechanismare brought forward. Secondly, the publicity of government information on which theinformation dissemination depends is analyzed. Thirdly, two different types of publicinformation dissemination mechanism based on the government or the third sectorrespectively are established. Finally, the mold of public information dissemination isconcluded.
