The Design Of Value Added Service Platform For Short Messaging Service

With the appearance of mobile internet, the mobile value added service is rich in contents the combination of the computer and the mobile internet is more and more close. The Short Message Service is the earliest and highest-frequency used value added service in our country. It brings considerable profit for the Telecom Company, Service Provider and the commercial website which provides the Short Message Service. At present, though there are many platform of SMS used in market, all have its limitation, some one only was considered the convenient development but not considered the cross platform(write once run anywhere), the stability and the security. Some products upgrade and service expansion are difficult.Because of the reason above, this paper proposed one solution based on Java development environment and JMS technology. The Java language itself cross platform, the security and the exception handling mechanism have guaranteed the product cross platform and the security;the JMS technology have guaranteed the message memory retransmits and the message dispatch priority;This platform is a completely open system, can connect with the Telecom's SMS gateway, regarding the future 3G migration formulation application layer's standard agreement, it can adapt the new mobile communication network with replacing transmission layer's several API functions;The platform development take advantage of the object-oriented programming thought, and single out some module which can be reused, at the same time the platform provide reserve connections for HTTP, E-Mail, IM expansion, through the connect method and the many kinds of outputs method, we can realize the unified messaging platform.This paper's main work includes two parts: the analysis and the design of the platform and the implement of module. The design consists of three modules: core layer, protocol layer and service layer, the service layer take charge in user's service, starts the corresponding service function module according to the different service code, the core layer explain user's service flow and take charge in send and receive function, the protocol layer transform the short message format, provides with various correspondence connection with Telecom Company's gateway.
