With the increasingly development of the mobile communication market and technology, the demand of mobile telephone subscribers has gradually changed from the basic voice communication to the comprehensive mobile value-added service. Short message service is popular with the mobile telephone subscribers with the characteristic of economical, convenient and storage of information. At present, short message service is still the principal part of the increment of service.Short Message Peer to Peer (SMPP) protocol is a kind of opening and industrialized interface protocol, which provides flexible data communication interface between Short Message Service Center (SMSC) and Short Message Gateway (SMG). SMG includes WAP agent server, EMAIL gateway and other message gateway. SMPP is an opening information switch protocol, it completes information switch between SMSC and ESME.Short Message Gateway Interface Protocol (SGIP) is the interface protocol of the short message gateway system of China Union Communication Company. The function of SGIP is message of transmitting and receiving between SMG and SP (Service Provider), between SMG and SMG. Besides, SGIP includes route synchronization function between SMG and GNS (Gateway Name Server).China Mobile Peer to Peer (CMPP) is the enterprise criterion of China Mobile Company. CMPP is application layer protocol, which simplifies and encapsulates SMPP at the basic of SMPP. CMPP is the interface protocol between SMSC and SP. SP provide service and information. TCP/IP is carrier of bottom layer communication of CMPP. CMPP is implemented by making use of Sockets based on TCP/IP.This paper is based on the practical project. According to SGIP, based on J2EE, I program two kinds of the value-added service — order and month service. At the same time, I compare SGIP with CMPP in detail. During the programming, I make use of Hibernate, which is a new technique to resolve data persistence. And, I solve the junk short message by filtrating content. At last, I analyze the security of system.
