The low-voltage power equipments play an important part in the field of industrial control, especially in Petrochemical industry. Equipments Protection is a long-term research. As the most prevalent Fieldbus, industry local area control network CAN has some advantages, such as cheap price, simple protocol, and reliable data transmission, so it is widely applied in the industry control field. USB technology is the most popular external computer interface at present.It has the advantages of PNP, hot inserting and pulling out and so on. Taking advantage of both of their characteristics and using Software optimization and Hardware design will develop a kind of Data interface which has characters of high-speed, flexibility and convenience and will greatly improve the application environment of CAN.The thesis describes the process of intelligent data interfaces in detail from both the hardware and software aspects, and introduces MODBUS protocol into the system to filter the data transmission, and enhance the integrity and accuracy of data transmission.Using the DDK development tools provided by Microsoft Company to design the USB equipment's WDM model-driven program. The working principle of the device has been introduced. The structures of the WDM driver and the program code example have been illustrated. Finally designation of the monitoring software system for control system of TDT2000 protection units saves and displays data, checks the operational parameters, which decreases the cost and developing difficulty, reduces the system resources of computer, enlarges the applied field and facilitates the installation and debug of equipment in the industrial scene and management of network.The research of data interface in this topic develops and enriches the same kind technology products. It is an inevitable trend that the traditional interface will be fully replaced by USB interface, which makes this study broad prospect.
