Remote data acquisition technology is experiencing wider applications, with the rapid developing of communication technology and computer technology, especially the variety and technology increasing of remote transmission method. Bridge remote monitoring system, is a popular research field in the world, relating to many subjects such as sensor, structure mechanics, computer, communication etc. Remote wireless data acquisition system provides an advanced technology of remote data acquisition. It achieves the remote acquisition of many bridges' health information in an area, applying wireless data transmission technology to bridge monitoring field, by using existing GPRS network resources, taking the advantage of wide covering and characteristics. The system can remotely monitor the running circs of bridges in a ' real-time, timely detect problems and take corresponding measures.This paper introduces the design for the system. The first part of the thesis describes the background, the purpose and significance of the system. The application and actuality home and abroad in bridge monitoring field is analyzed. According to the special need of bridge health detect system, the thesis main content is ascertained. The second part particularly introduces the whole design of the system, presents the whole hardware structure and control scheme, analyzes and selects the key technology, discuss the design principles. The third part achieves the design of field wireless acquisition subsystem, expatiates the circuit composing of bridge strain acquisition forward channel, gives the hardware and software design of micro power intimate wireless transmission module DTD462A. Field wireless acquisition node is finished based on MSC1210 and DTD462A;Field host control node is finished based on AT89C2051 and DTD462A. For the need of the system, the communication structure and the dot to multi-dots communication protocol is designed. The forth part uses advance GPRS communication technology to finish the remote data transmission, researches into the configuration and characteristic of GPRS technology, emphasizes its short message service. The design theory of GPRS terminal based on Q2403A is described in detail. After designing the software of server for application in bridgestrain wireless acquisition system, this system is debugged. The last part of the thesis summarized the design of this system and the application in the real field. And the prospect of this system is pointed out.The realization of remote wireless data acquisition system, uniquely using wireless communicating method, avoids the problem of disposing cable, improves the agility. The data transmission also can be used in traffic transportation management, security monitoring and military field.
