With the development of the semiconductor technology, the intelligent apparatus which mainly consists of a microcontroller, combined with computer technology and measurement technology has been wildly used in production. Such intelligent apparatuses have MCU by themselves and can be tested alone and used conveniently, the function of the apparatuses are decided by the system software. As a brand-new field of computer application, the embedded real-time OS draws more and more people' s attention because of its simplicity, high-efficiency and other features. Replanting the embedded real-time OS into the intelligent apparatuses make the function more flexible and the development of software more regular, and realize program modularized and shorten the development time.Temperature is one of the basic parameters monitored in industrial manufacture. The monitoring and control of temperature is relative to safety, product quality, produce efficiency, saving energy. Because of the importance of temperature apparatus, the development and innovation of temperature apparatus are always concerned. Being the object the monitoring and control of temperature, in the thesis the feature, current status and development tendency of intelligent apparatus and real-time are stated in details, the system function and the hardware design of temperature cycling measuring apparatus are introduced in details and the application of the embedded real-time OS in intelligent apparatus and the implement of software are researched. Small RTOS51 being adopted as the software platform in temperature cycling measuring apparatus, the replanting, configuration and scaling of Small RTOS51 being used in MCS-51 are studied and the advantages of using embedded RTOS are analyzed. According to the method of the software engineering design the structure, the functions are decomposed and tasks are partitioned according to system requirements. Also, the driver realization of peripheral chips based on Small RTOS51 software platform and the method of software linearization handler of the functional relationship between voltage and temperature as the real-time quality of system precondition is studied in the thesis. Finally, the factors which influence the real-time performance of system and measurement precisionof apparatus are analyzed.The continuous improvement of science and technology makes measurement and control requirements increased, mainly being incarnated in the precision, the response delay, the system reliability and so on. Planting real-time OS into temperature cycling measuring apparatus makes the control of action and function of apparatus by using the method of software easy, shortens the development period, enhances the stability and reliability and maintainability. The design and implement of the apparatus is a meaningful and successful attempt and of certain value. It has certain reference value for the technology progress of domestic intelligent electric instrument.
