Construction Of Experimental Platform For The Design And Performance Analysis Of PLL Frequency Synthesizer

The task of this dissertation derives from the program of constructing "system reliability engineering laboratory" teaching and experimenting conditions in "211 engineering".It is important for the teaching of Reliability Engineering to perform a series of experiments on the reliability of the electronic system. At the same time, the advantage of Virtual Instruments (VI) technology in the field of measurement is prominent.According to the program, the solution of the entire experiment system is studied. And following this, circuit boards to be measured and analysis & measurement software for those boards is designed.The circuit boards are analog/digital mix system based on PLL frequency synthesis technology and are composed of PLL frequency synthesizer, band-pass filter, mixer, low-pas filter. In the design of the boards, some circuit schematics are verified by simulation using PSpice tools. Furthermore, a fault board is designed according to the solution.And with the concept of VI, Advantech's multifunction card PCI-1710 and a high-performance PC are selected for the hardware platform of the VI system.Design of VI analysis & measurement software is based on National Instruments' LabVIEW which is graphic programming language. The software has two parts: one is real-time signal performance analysis module used for Data Acquisition (DAQ) from circuit boards measured and the signal waveform display, frequency spectrum analysis, harmonic distortion analysis from those pre-processed data; the other is feature measurement module used for power-amplifier circuit and draw the curve of it.On the basis of above work, we have finished the analysis experiment for normal and fault circuit board, and also the comparison of performance of system circuit boards separately composed of devices for civil use and devices for military...
