Compared with other measuring technologies, image measurement has the advantages of directness, resisting the disturbance of electron and so on, and it has been widely applied to figure detection, industry detection and the field of national defence. In this paper, the theory of image measuring which is used in marine helicopter's landing device is studied and the algorithms computing the information of beaconing position according to four beaconing is induced. Camera calibration is one of the factors affect the precision of image measuring, it is introduced in the paper, in addition a simple Two_Stages camera calibration method by viewing a plane and its improved method are introduced, their analysis has also been done refer to large numbers of experiments. On the other hand, this paper introduces a relay protection testing system design based on DSP and FPGA, including the theory of DDS and its FPGA realization. And finally, the paper detailed introduces the development of USB firmware and its driver used in the relay protection testing system.
