| Enterprise management demands for more advanced level of decision-making. The correctness and effectiveness of decision-making depends upon support of data. Data warehouse provides an integrate solution to data sustain.Generally speaking, architecture of Data warehouse includes five levels: data source, monitor, integrator, Data warehouse and Client application. Process of establishing a data warehouse includes: Concept model designing, Logic model designing and Physic model designing.In order to make a data warehouse works well, pretreated data must be loaded into when it established. Process of data pre-treatment includes:①data sources selection;②Extracting data from data sources;③Cleaning and transforming data according standard form and semantics of the data warehouse;④Load data into the data warehouse.We can query and analyze data in data warehouse when data has been loaded. As operating tool and data presenting tool, OLAP bring convenience to data warehouse query and analysis. OLAP has two models: MOLAP model and ROLAP model. MOLAP uses multi-dimensional database to store data. While in ROLAP, data is stored as rows and columns in relation form, and exhibited to customers as business dimension. The main difference between MOLAP and ROLAP lies in query capability, analysis capability, data storage capability, data load capability and maintenance capability. Data scale is the main consideration for selection between MOLAP and ROLAP.With SQL Server, this paper designs E-R model for Yeshu palm drinking sale including fact table for drink sale and dimension table for drink sale. And realizes establishment and connection of SQL Server warehouse and Analysis Manager warehouse based on drinking sales data. After data warehouse dimension and multi-dimension dataset established, we could update data warehouse on demand of enterprise. If manager needs to deeply analyze gathered data in data warehouse, the data drill function of SQL Server can query and analysis data. |
