Design And Implementation Of OLAP Technology For Tobacco Industry Data Analysis System

Being the front tool of data warehouse, OLAP, an advanced DSS tool, is developed rapidly during the recent decades. With OLAP, users can make deep investigation of business data, find the business tendency and abnormality, get important details and make better understanding of rules of their business behaviors.Nowadays ,many OLAP product is designed for big enterprise, few OLAP solution face to mid- and small-scale enterprise. This thesis focuses on mid- and small-scale enterprise, try to develop a OLAP System, which bases on the background of tobacco industry, for them.It was first analysed in this thesis the domestic and foreign research tendency of OLAP solution, proposed OLAP solution for mid- and small-scale enterprise; Then, we gave system design and the multi-dimensional database design on the OLAP theory, designed the multi-dimensional data schema table and the database connection pool; Finally we realized the function of the system.Focused on the actual application of the system, the main research work this thesis has completed are as follows:1. It took the research and the development work of the tobacco enterprise data analysis system as the goal, proposed a set of practical and feasible OLAP solution, deeply studied theory, method, algorithm needed in the research process and solved the technology problem met in system design, development, and implementation process.2. It designed the data warehouse model for the Data Analysis System, and transformed data from original production management system to the data warehouse after the clean and conversion operation. Based on the data warehouse , it used mondrain, the open source module , build the multi-dimensional dataset for OLAP operation.3. With Microsoft SQL server as the backstage database, Tomcat as the application server, we constructed the OLAP analysis system under the MVC architecture, applied database warehouse model in the system, realized the system anticipated function, which used MDX, JDBC, JPivot technology and so on;...
