With the development of the power industry, the power system, the computer technique and the communication technique, the synthetic automatization of transformer substation has become a pop topic and caused the attentions of all sections in the power industry, and it has also become one of emphases that the power industry pushes the technique progress, It is because that:①with the realization of the synthetic automatization of transformer substation, the safety of power network and the run level of economy can be improved, and the investment of foundation construction can be reduced;②with the increase of the complexity of power network, in order to hold the run state of the power network and the transformer substation in time, all levels of control center should take more information;③To improve the controllability of the transformer substation, it is required to adopt more remote concentrated control,concentrated operation, and anti-accident measures.According to the development of substation automation system and the market demand of production of The ChongQing New Century Corp, this thesis raise an idea which combines object-oriented and COM technology to develop background COM and real-time monitoring software. With the guidance of this idea, the relevant technology and some significant problems in the process of using system are studied deeply , that haves an important meaning in the field of theories and practices.The work of the article as following:1) According to the analysis of development and actuality of transformer substation automation system, the requirement of background monitoring system for substation is brought.2) Based on the characteristic of backgorund monitoring system for substation, the three level distributed structure is given in the system.3) With the research on COM and OOP technology, the application of these technologies in background monitoring system is analized.4) Advanced graphics and animate function is realized with Windows GDI method in the background monitoring system.
