With the development of ViSC and computer simulating of Geosciences information, visualization technology is used in prospecting and data processing. The application can provide new means to help geologician observe and analyze the geological phenomenons and spatial distributing in 3D. The application can help geologician make a good judgement and do a decision-making based on the round understanding of stratum structure. Recently, 3D GIS and 3D GMS come into being the main branches of Geosciences equally. But 3D GIS mainly concerns about the objects on the surface or above of the earth. On the contrary 3D GMS mainly concerns about the objects on the surface or under of the earth. There are some new multi- disciplinary subjects of Geosciences and Informatics such as Real 3D Geosciences Model, Unification Modeling both of geography and geological space, 3D Topology Description, 3D Spatial Analysis, 3D Dynamic Geosciences Model, etc. Thereinto, 3D Spatial Modeling is hotter researching-subject than others in 3D GIS and 3D GMS fields.The methods of describing spatial entities are different in various study fields on 3D phenomena. It is difficult to use one data model to adapt all applications. To design the corresponding 3D spatial data model for special application should be based on the distribution characteristics of entities in that field. Over here there are two kinds of data sources. One is the scatter set based on bore; the other is the faultage section. Body-Modeling method is in common used about the former data set. Volume elements are common used such as TP (Triangular Prism), Tetrahedron, Hexahedron and so on.In fact, the boreholes are likely made some excursions on vertical orientation because of many reasons during the broaching. And they can't make the corresponding points of the neighborhood two-stratum TIN (Triangulated Irregular Network) keeping the identical position in plane. As a result, the profile of TP linked is not a plane because of the excursion. And also, the two-stratum TIN surfaces are not parallel. So the special TP is called STP (Similar Tri-Prism). At the same time, the special modeling method is called STP Modeling method based on the volume element of STP.So, this paper is concerned with the 3D Geo-body Modeling based on the volume element of STP according to the growth method. It takes full advantage of the stratum character of Geo-body and the particularity of borehole data set. The main research contents of this paper include data pre-processing, such as unitary processing and primary data structure building, and include fast Delaunay triangulation based on scatter data, simple polygon triangulation, minimum weight triangulation based on GA, 3D GM based on STP by growth method, dissection of list triangles and renewing section by composing polygons.
