Research And Realization Of The Education Management System Based On Credit

Education management is the central part of college and university informationmanagement in our country. With the developing of education system reform, themodel of education management of college and university is challenged. The morethe number of students is, the heavier the task of education management is. It is notsatisfy the needs of the rapidly developing of education and credit system in sides ofeducation management such as recruiting, student, tuition, living, grade, selectingcourse, arranging course etc. The question of college and university faced is how toimprove work's efficiency, the science of decision, the transparent of educationmanagement using modem tools and technology. With the rapidly developing ofcomputer technology, especially Internet technology, it becomes the main means forcollege and university to improve level of management using computer, databasesystem, communicated technology to setup the system of management informationbase on credit on Internet network. The background database server is Sybasedatabase system v12.5.In the recent years, the management system is based on two architectures: C/Sand B/S architecture based on local network and Internet. In my paper, I analyzed thecharacteristics of the two architectures and bring forward the blue print of combineC/S and B/S architecture. I have developed the client and web application programof Education management system base on credit for Tianjin Arts College's usingPowerbuilder 9.0 development tools and ASP technology. The whole system is hasperfect function, operating agility and friendly interface. As well as ensuring securityand satisfy all the needs of education management.
