The Study And Realization Of Network Management Statistical Function In Multiservice WAN

Multiservice switch is widely used in WAN as backbone transmission. Along with it, thesurveillance and statistic of switch performance data is necessary for maintenance of networkoperation. Because of the insufficiency of private network management system from switchprovider, it is difficult to achieve performance statistic function. To resolve this problem thepaper introduces the conception and function of statistic function that is subset of performancemanagement firstly. Secondly it puts forward the scheme of performance statistic functionsoftware, researches the framework and designing scheme of each unit and points out the keytechnique of an instance based on AdventNet Web NMS. At last it puts forward the designingscheme of distributed network management statistic function software based on JAVA RMI.The paper focuses on researching model establishment and the method of concentrated datacollection in low bandwidth. And it is significative in surveillance and statistic of performancedata of multiservice switch.
