With popularization of the computer application and rapid development of the worldwide information network technology, equipment requires higher quality of power supply, thus digital control and intelligentized supervision of UPS have become necessary development trend. The paper introduces design and implementation of an on-line UPS intelligentized supervisory system based on DSP, and software function of the system is realized by adopting Structured Analysis and Design Technique. The man-machine interface of the system is user-friendly, and the core control chip of the system is TMS320F240. At first, the actualities and development direction of UPS is introduced and the intelligentized supervision technology is discussed. With that UPS digital control and supervisory are discussed emphatically, and considering the characteristic of the TMS320F240 chip, the application design scheme of UPS is discussed and the design scheme of supervisory system based DSP is presented. Then the interface design of every functional module in the supervisory system is given and the hardware principle is expatiated on. Then, software design thought and realization method of the supervisory system are introduced with emphasis. In the paper, after C software programming flow and optimizing design method based on DSP are discussed in theory, system software requirement is analyzed, the system is analyzed by Structured Analysis Method, and system Data Flow Diagram is drawn, then structured programming approach is applied to the supervisory system, the whole software structure diagram is got correspondingly, and then system detailed design is started, after system software flow is given, software realization method of every functional module is expatiated on. The paper mainly uses DSP software development platform, mainly adopts C programming language and partly assembling, and program design task of the system is completed. At last, the whole design and implementation of the supervisory system are summarized, and the problem to be solved and exploited is analyzed.
