The inner margin data, by Converter-Laser-Measure-Margin-System , are one of the most important parameters which are used to reflect whether the converter is working in wrong or not. In the face of the much converter's inner margin data, viz. wall margin data, it is necessary to convert the data into graphics and images, which are more understanding than original data. By this way, the margin information is able to be seen easily and the valuable disciplines & conclusions are also found more expediently.In this paper, visualization in scientific computing technology and computer graphics' theory& technique are applied to convert the much data, which are generated by the Converter-Laser-Measure -Margin-System, into position points in drawing graphics. By this way, more intuitionistic graphics and images are exhibited. In the 2D software, firstly, grid-processing is carried through with the many points cloud data. Secondly, smooth isolines, viz. equal wall thickness lines, are drown in the converter's plane spread graphics. What's more, many selective colors, which are appointed by users, are used to fill the areas enclosed by isolines . Therefore , the graphics could be simulated the converter inner margin model, hi the 3D software, OpenGL API is applied much too and converter's 3D graphics are drown based on the data of 3D space points. It is the VR(Visualization-Reality) system to the converter and is realized the real-time interaction functions between man and computer include 3D-roam and orientation and so on.In this paper, the talked 2D software are developed under Delphi 5.0, but the 3D software under Delphi 5.0. They are operable well and have some practicality.
