The principle and the application of MCU is an important course for many majors. Currently, MCS-51 series MCU is adopted by most schools in China as their teaching content. However, with the development of semi-conductor technology, the appearance of high capability and Embedded Microprocessor Unit brings an impact on the traditional way of MCU teaching and a new task for the improvement of teaching method and facilities of MCU course.Adopting the popular Atmega8515 MCU as the main chip of the senior customer studying plate, this design exploits single machine experiment and the multiprocessor communication experiment and combines the MCU teaching tightly with the practical advanced apparatus, which improves the application of correspondence experiment and enhances the student's ability in actual operation. It is proved that AVR MCU is much better than MCS-51 series MCU in executing speed, reliability, power consumption, maneuverability etc.The background of this project is introduced in chapter one; Chapter two puts great emphasis on USART of Atmega8515; Designing scheme for the senior customer studying plate is presented in chapter three; Chapter four describes the design of single machine control circuit, analyzes the circuit of multiprocessor communication technique based on the RS-485 serial communication technique;It is discussed that the basic applicational mode of the experimental system, and points out the direction of further perfection of the experimental system In chapter five.
