With the rapid development of the technology of contactless IC card, especially after the accomplishment of the project based on " far-distance " Tag and Reader, which resolves such disadvantages of traditional bar code or short-distance tag as being read-write close, slowness and instability, an efficient and stable logistics management system, which can bring about industrialization of the project and embody the great application value of far-distance Tag and Reader, has been put in practice at GuoYang Tobacco Leaf Toast Factory of Anhwei province.On the basis of RFID's principles and performances, this paper specifies the frame and software module of the logistics management system, which combines with such technologies as serial port communication, the development of database, bar code identification, etc. The following points will be covered in the whole research:1. The communication protocols between the Reader and the PC machine have been researched further. A concrete protocol of command and return code is established based on the traditional communication format. In this paper, we not only analyze the advantages and the disadvantages of the two kinds of serial communication programming methods but also design a class of serial communication using API functions that can be simply applied. RS485 interface that based on the 9th data bit is applied to connect a PC machine with many Readers. As a result, the work area of tags can be expanded and the costs can be cut down.2. The system offers the decision support for supervisors by building data mining model as well as by introducing the technology of data mining and using Microsoft decision tree algorithm which is provided by Analysis Services. A kind of index table structure, which can compress 13 tables into 1 table, is used in the coding table of database. This structure simplifies creating table in SQL Server and programming in Visual C++.3. Coding and printing functions of bar code which is another identified technology are completed in this software. The ideas of information exchange and existing together are presented and turned to reality so that both of their advantagescan be embodied. Also this system is designed with giving different bar code coding modules based on the different clients. With this method, the problem without uniform standard about the bar code coding in tobacco trade is resolved now.4. At last, a design scheme about an abstemious intelligent warehouse is introduced. A kind of algorithm of goods location optimization is also presented, which can help to layout the whole arrangement about the warehouse. The algorithm is finally proved to be feasible under testing, and can save more than 1/4 journey than traditional random manner.The finished system has changed the mode of traditional management, which has the advantages of optimizing the resource of enterprise, saving the cost of storage and improving the efficiency of work so that the degree of the enterprise automatization can be improved well. It is adapted to the tobacco trade and fully embodies the advantage of far-distant Tag and Reader system. This project has passed the identification by appraisers, and has been used in the factory and been proved to be satisfying.
