This paper introduces the Chinese IM(Input Method) auto-generation technology for Handle Devices, and explains a Chinese IM creator for Handle Devices based such technology. The creator provides an opening IM templates library and a module which can automatic create and compress the reference. It has many characteristics such as simple to use, developing quickly, extending easily etc. In this paper, firstly we introduce some Handle Device's Operation System been widely used now and these Operation System's interface for Chinese character IM. Then we describe a model, which has multi-layers and can be use to assist in developing Handle Device's Chinese character input method template quickly and easily. We also introduced the advantage of the model. Secondly we explain the steps how to create an IM template according to this model. Thirdly we describe several structures about input codes-words references, which are applicable to some kinds of encoding method. These structures are not only based on the research of numerical, alphabetic and mixed Chinese character IM, but also fit Handle Devices. We also explain ours algorithms, which are used to search in IM's reference and satisfied the limitation of time and space in Handle Device. At last, we introduce the framework of the Chinese IM creator for Handle Devices, described the software's model and some techniques that used to implement it. The Chinese IM auto-generation technology for Handle Devices provides the way that can develop the IM for Handle Devices quickly and easily. This technology also has good performance in expansibility and compatibility. It provides a solution for Chinese character input in Handle Devices.
