| Chinese information processing is to carry on the automatic processing of the Chinese language information by computer. In this field, how to settle the Chinese input problem is a primary, but critical task. Although some non-keyboard Chinese input products have been brought out, keyboard-input technique still is the most popular means as well as a very important task in Chinese information processing field. To heighten the intelligence of the input method, the Chinese intelligent input method based on grammar and semantics is designed. This dissertation analyzes the existed input methods, and then proposes a general design of a Chinese input method and discusses the detailed techniques of how to realize it on Windows platform. Meanwhile, this paper researches on the segmentation on incomplete sentence, finally presents the realization of the input method. The main work involves:1,Designing the general frame of the Chinese intelligent input method based on grammar and semantics which can heighten its intelligence by intelligence processing techniques. The whole framework of the input method system can be divided into respective modules according to different functions. Due to the relative independency of the input transform module,it can be loaded onto the other existed input methods,thereby they can also be intellectualized.2,Carrying on a thorough research on the principles of designing input methods on Windows platform. Start with how to install input method in Windows,and talk over the different kinds of methods. The Input Method Management-Input Method Editor (IMM-IME) structure is one of the core modules of the multi-language supported Win-OS which providing the powerful support for the development of the input method.
