The Electroencephalogram Device is a kind of medical apparatus used to record the changes of voltage in the cerebral cortex in human bodies. However, the Digital Electroencephalogram Device is a new medical apparatus which has appeared in the recent 2 years and got developed on the basis of the traditional Mechanic and Electronic Electroencephalogram Device.On the part of its functions, the Digital Electroencephalogram Device can be divided into three sections: the Amplifying Electric Circuit, the Signals Collection System and the Software Analysis System. The Brainwave Signals Collection Subsystem is mainly used to change the analogue brainwave signals to the digital signals, and then transfer them to the computer. Therefore it can analyze and research the brainwave signals by means of the specific data analytical software and offer helps to the medical diagnoses.This article puts forward and makes an available plan for the Brainwave Signals Collection System. It achieves the digitized collection of the brainwave signals and communication between the Brainwave Signals Collection Device and Computer.This article first introduces the development and present situation of the Electroencephalogram Device. It points out the importance of the Signals Collection Subsystem in the Digital Electroencephalogram Device System and significance of research on this subject. Then it starts with the analysis to the brainwave signals, puts forward the general design for the Signals Collection Subsystem and draws up an agreement of communicationfor the brainwave signals collection together with the technical index of the brainwave signals collection and the characteristics of the system . At last, it designs the programs according to the plan of the system and the agreement of communication drawn up for the brainwave signals collection, achieves the basic functions of the Brainwave Signals Collection Subsystem and executes tests and analysis.
