At present researches of non-uniform transmission lines are mostly limited to numerical calculations. But numerical method works at the price of vast calculation resources and various conjectures, which can hardly produce ideal results when dealing with complex project problems. This paper proposes the general transmission line equations for analyzing non-uniform face like transmission lines. The general transmission lines equation can be used to calculate the induced voltage and induced current under exterior exciting source and the method to calculate the parameters such as the characteristic impedence of non-uniform transmission lines is also given. At first the general transmission line equations is deduced from basic electromagnetic theories including the Helmholtz theorem and mirror principle. This model needs no requirement for uniform of transmission lines and parallel with reference face, and bend is allowed on the transmission lines, which extends the application of this method. Meanwhile the model takes the radiation effect into account, which improves the accuracy of analytical results. Then based on general transmission line equations the iteration method is applied to calculate unknown parameters in the equation with the quasi static parameter as the initial value, which gives the calculation represent of transmission line's parameters and induced current and induced voltage along the transmission lines. Finally parameters such as the distribute capacitance in the general transmission line equations are given by numerical emulation, as well as the induced current and induced voltage along the transmission lines. For verifying our model's validity, the general transmission line equations are compared with original method for dealing with the uniform transmission lines problems.
