With the development of power systems, power grids continuously expand with voltage levels improving continuously, more and more electronic equipment are applied, however, the electromagnetic environment continued to deteriorate. Transmission line network of power system or electronic system through a network transmission line of electromagnetic pulse energy coupled into the system, which may affect the stability of the system. This paper demonstrates in detail how to apply the two numerical methods, FFT and NILT, calculating of transient response, and with examples clarifies the similarities and differences and the advantages and disadvantages of the both. The thesis based on Taylor model of the transmission line, node admittance equation for the transmission line network of distributed parameters is derived, whereby simulated the response of transmission line network with EMF excitation, analyzed and summarized the law of the impact of the various factors related to the response from the system-level, so as to provide some reference for transmission line network system design, performance assessment and electromagnetic protection.
