In the future modern battlefield, because much electronic equipment are used by army, as well as the fast increase of civil information establishment, the electromagnetic signals will be very dense. And unknown geographical environment forming wireless channel lead inestimable signal fading. These two factors form extra complicated battlefield electromagnetic environment.Based on the requirement of testing, verifying and evaluating Electronic Information Systems and military training, this paper research and develop background signal generation subsystem and wireless channel simulation subsystem.First, this paper introduces the theory of background signal generation, adopt scheme of frequency spectrum combination to form wide bandwidth and huge density signal. A general model modulation model of more then ten signal modes is established. The paper optimizes the procedure of signal as realization, which makes the use of chip resource least. Forming background signal environment, the subsystem can output 432 signals.Second, this paper research on character of wireless channel and fading model, establish the simulation scheme of small-scale fading channel, design delay model and shaping filter module which both fit widely, and realize flat-fading channel and frequency selective channel on FPGA. The wireless channel simulation subsystem can simulate most typical channel models. At last, the article develops software of two subsystems. Through man-machine conversation interface, user can set parameters to establish complicated battlefield electromagnetic environment easily.
