With the development of science and technology,military communications and Electronic Counter Measures have been constantly updated. In the modern battlefield, the electromagnetism signal will be quite dense which formed the extra complex electromagnetism environment. For catching the requirement of modern equipments development, Complicated Electromagnetic Environment Background Signals Generating System is aimming at constructing an electromagnetism environment which contains high signal frequency, different signal pattern and high-density electromagnetic signals in inside or outside proving ground.Not only can it provide a vivid electromagnetism environment of battlefield communication, but also it can provide a signal scene similar to the real work environment for the development, the manufacture and the test of many products.This paper introduces research and realization of white noise signals generator which is a part of Complicated Electromagnetic Environment Background Signals Generating System. Firstly, it introducs the knowledge of white noise, such as the nature of white noise,Noise sequence, Linear feedback shift register and the theory of m-sequence, demonstrated the feasibility of achieving white noise with m-sequence and given the generation project,and brings up a kind of generating method based on m-sequence of longer-Period pseudo-random sequence etc.Secondly,it study a kind of generating method of band limitation of white noise and the theory of quadrature modulation technology. Then, the whole design scheme is introduced, and a method to program FPGA with hardware language, the control circuit design and the white noise sequence is studied, further more, the white noise signal is accomplished in FPGA by amplitude modulation mode. Finally,the paper makes a summarize and gives the method of how to further improve the relevant technology are given.
