Police performance assessment system is to use computer technology to realize the informatization and automation of the Police performance assessment management,to impove the work efficiency and reduce the cost .Literature review on data mining and performance assessmen were presented.And then the objective of Police performance assessment system was raised. The requirement analysis, including the scope of police performance evaluation, the design philosophy of assessment index, non-functionally and functionally requirement analysis and so on, were firstly conducted in this paper. Then the system design, including the whole structure design, the logical structure design and the database design, was performed based on the requirement analysis. The design and realize of the main algorithmic models of the system were finally presented in this paper. The key algorithmic models mainly includs two parts: (1) The improved FastApriori algorithm was provided through the analysis of Apriori algorithm in this paper. Then association rule mining was conducted using the improved FastApiori algorithm. Then the recommended function of the index could be carried out. Meanwhile, the performance of the improved FastApiori algorithm was assessed. (2)The AP model was constructed based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) . The characteristics of AHP and PCA are strong subjectivity and objectivity, respectively. Therefore, asset police performancethe is base on the combination of AHP and PCA ,and also analyzed the model with simulated data.At present the key parts of the system had been completed, and meanwhile the effectiveness of this system had been proved with simulated test.
