With the development of the society and the progress of science and technology, the theory of channel code has made more and more progress in the field of communication technology, especially in the wireless communication system. DPC code has gradually come into people's horizons because of the excellent performance of approaching Shannon limit and lower and lower complexity decoding algorithm. LDPC code is a kind of linear block code and because the character of sparsity isn't used sufficiently in the general way of encoding, the complexity of encoding is linearly proportional to the square of code length. The LDPC code in the standard of IEEE802.16e is created to be an architecture-aware code by circular right shift based on some base matrixes, which makes encoding and decoding easier. This kind of LDPC codes is widely used in every aspect of wireless communication system because of its special properties. The paper mainly introduces the research and design according to the LDPC code based on the standard of IEEE802.16e. The knowledge background of channel code and the theory of LDPC code are introduced in the beginning of the paper, and then it mentions the custom encoding algorithm and fast encoding algorithm based on the standard of IEEE802.16e.The algorithm of block characteristic of parity check matrices belonging to the fast encoding algorithm is improved to meet the LDPC code of low complexity. The block diagram of LDPC code is given in the paper then and the program is finished using Verilog HDL. Then the simulation and the Synthesis are done in the software of QuartusII. Then the comparison with others is made to prove the design. Finally the module of LDPC encoder is designed based on the standard of IEEE802.16e. The rate and length of the code are 1/2 and 2304 respectively. The LDPC codes can be effectively encoded linearly in the premise condition of the reasonable structure of matrix H and lowering the complexity.
