Low Density Parity-Check (LDPC) code has better decode performance and higher decode throughput comparing to Turbo code. Its excellent performance makes low density parity check code become an optional channel code of IEEE802.16e standard. Low density parity check codes in IEEE802.16e standard is an architecture-aware low density parity check code and is created by circular right shift based on some base matrixes. These features makes low density parity check codes'encoder and decoder based on IEEE802.16e standard more simple and have higher parallel degree and decode throughput. The author researchs IEEE802.16e standard deeply, find low density parity check code's fast-speed encode algorithm based on IEEE802.16e standard that can support multi-code-length LDPC codes encode by the way of comparing and analyzing three encode algorithms proposed in IEEE802.16e standard. The author introduces a new low density parity check code's encoder's architecture. This encoder can support multiple-code-length low density parity check codes'encoding by designing a specified barrel shifter. The author completes the task of research low density parity check codes'decode algorithm and decoder architecture design based on IEEE802.16e standard. The author find the best decode algorithm by comparing many decode algorithms and software simulation using MATLAB and find optimized parameters using density evolution. The author introduces a new kind of decoder architecture of low density parity check code that it can support all check matrixes in IEEE802.16e standard.
