Along with the quick development of our country's radio network industry, the requirement for the automatic radio network optimization system is increasing, concerning its function level, degree of practicality. Thus developing a radio optimization system platform with perfect function to realize automatic optimization of the radio network is CMCCs'urgent request. In the last few years, due to the reformation of GSM network and the upgrade of the communication system, the degree of automation of monitoring the network performance become increasingly demanding. Under such background, it is urgent to design and develop an optimization system, which is applicable to all levels of radio operators. The automatic optimization system will improve the efficiency and quality of wireless network optimization, discover and remove the hidden problems of the network. Design and Implement radio optimization platform have import meaning.The optimization sub system (OSS) is an automation system which can indicate the performance of the network automatically. It is a powerful instrument in allotting the resource of the radio network. It can help the operators to get the status of the radio network in time. The OSS include database and performance indicate platform.The radio network performance index extraction platform is an important part of the optimization sub system. It can obtain the relative data of the radio network, and then lays out these data in report forms to readers. It also has the function of statistics and comparisons, making the operators learn the relevant circumstance of radio network application in time and discover the existent problems through the statistics, comparison and analysis of the report forms data. Hence the operator can make decisions, adjust properly the radio network resource and prevent the occurrence of the accidents in the application of network. By comparing and analyzing the data, radio operators will find hidden faults of radio network and then scheduling resources rationally based on these data.Based on demand analysis of reporting systems, the author present the overall design of index extraction platform. After studying relevant theories and techniques, the author completed the implementation and operation of the radio network performance index extraction platform. This system includes two parts: public module and index extraction module. These two models are all developed based on inner VBA, which is the basis of MS Excel. The public module is used to connect and authorization the remote database. The index extraction module is used to setup the format of the report.
