User experience based research on faceted search web navigation, to study on how to improve the matching degree of website information and user's mental model by the innovative approach of information visualization. First of all, the paper goes deeply into consumer's decision-making by the research of consumer behavior and psychological theory. Secondly, it includes user research and a mass of documentation of women shoes buying, taking womens'shoes category as an example, to prove that ambiguity decision-making is one of the most important decision-making models, to have a grasp of what product factors have impacts on consumers'ambiguity decision-making, and to finger out the relationship between those factors and visualization. And further more, through observational study on the existing process of e-commerce buying behavior, it is found that the navigation design which did not meet users'requirements of ambiguity decision-making seriously affected the sites'usability and the efficiency of users'buying. The study also identifies the information matching problem of faceted search navigation and user's mental model and the design needs to be improved. On the basis of integration of those data, the paper focuses on the faceted search navigation visualization design of women's shoes category of e-commerce sites, and innovatively proposes different-levelled visualization designing for the navigation facets based on the differences between ambiguity and precise factors of users'decision-making. Finally, through the user satisfaction evaluation and comparative studies of newly designed product and existing products, it is demonstrated that navigation visualization design is a stimulation of e-commerce user's ambiguity decision-making. The navigation visualization design will promote the value and significance in that of other similar e-commerce websites and other categories of products.
