The micro-computer auto-blocking between railway stations system is a most important part of the railway traffic control. The software part is needed to be real-time, efficient, stable and reliable, which mean the software could offer reliably communication service continually. For these software product, reliability is a very important index, and now how to increase its reliability is a urgent problem. By studying the theory and technique of reliability, this paper gives some approach of the reliability analysis, design, and evaluation of the software of micro-computer auto-blocking between railway stations.The paper gives the analysis and design theory of software reliability;discusses traditional method which based software reliability mode and its application limitation;after researching the reliability evaluation method which based on the statistical hypothetical theory, this paper presents a reliability evaluation method based on the Bayesian theory;binds system of micro-computer auto-blocking between railway stations as a sample, with the system's functional requirement and technical index as starting point, the paper gives the analysis of system requirement based on UML;and using the fault tree analysis technique, points out the underbelly of the system, which could help the reliability design and improvement;then operating against the communication problem between stations and the device communication problem, brings up design scheme, and analyzes the scheme's feasibility.In sum, this paper uses the theory and method of software reliability, researches the application in the micro-computer auto-blocking between railway stations, its strategy process is a good reference to guarantee system reliability, and this method is also applicable for other railway control system's software.
