Discipline And Resistance

Discourse is not equivalent to language. Discourse focuses on language and the social practical relationships behind it. Network discourse refers to the sum of symbolic elements which come into being and are publicized by the network media. It also refers to the sum of social practical relationships which cause the complexity of it.The study of network should not be remained at the level of language, or the simple views such as"discourse violance of network"and"network discourse gets quite much freedom"will be treated as the final conclusion. If network study remain at the level of seeking corresponding signifie by language signifiant, those immature thinking such as network discourse resulting in many social problems, network discourse having to be controlled urgently and putting network real name system in force will become conclusions. According to Foucault's archeology and genealogy, this paper take a research on both the form and practice of network language. The purpose of this study is not to find what has been told by network languge on earth, whether it is harmful or not, should it be controlled or let it do as it like. What this study try to solve is that why network language is put in this way, why it could only be put in this way, what kind of regulation it pursues, what kind of circumstance it should have for it to put in this way.After observing the form of network discourse from the perspective of archaeology, it is known that network discourse is not unsystematic and contains many rules. After observing the network discourse from the perspective of genealogy, it could be found that the network which is seemingly free is full of powers of discipline, how those powers operate, what effects they can bring. Network discourse is full of many powers of discipline, at the same time, it contains various forms of resistance. The genealogical studies reveal issues as follows, what those forms of resistance are, how those forms of resistance operate, what results they can get.On the basis of archeology and genealogy, this paper discard cause-and-effect-diterminism and justice of value about network discourse, and oberve it under an extensive circumstance of practical relationships and get a relative conclusion finally. Network discourse is full of discipline and resistance, the relationship between them is not that one control the other but interdependence. The relationship between discipline and resistance and their operations in the process of practice consist the core of this paper.
