Research On The Compilation And Publication Of Current Genealogy

Genealogy has been playing an important role in China's social development since the Zhou Dynasty.Although it has experienced several declines,the tradition of compiling genealogy has been preserved to this day.Although it was hit in the1950 s and 1960 s,with the rapid development of China's economy,the continuous improvement of international status and people's living standards,the national cultural confidence has gradually recovered,the sense of mission to inherit excellent traditional culture has gradually awakened,and people have a new recognition of genealogy.In addition,the root-seeking activities of compatriots at home and abroad and the demand for academic research have further promoted the resurgence of genealogy compilation and publication.With the continuous development of the social economy and the continuous advancement of science and technology,the compilation and publication of genealogy are also on the road of continuous innovation.New changes have taken place in content,format,technical means,and preservation methods.Compilation and publication of genealogy is conducive to promoting resource integration,promoting academic research,promoting family culture,promoting rural construction,and promoting regional development.However,there are still many problems in the current genealogy compilation and publication activities.For example,some genealogy content lacks textual research,the publishing process is not standardized enough,and the scope of use is narrow.These problems are not conducive to improving the compilation and publication of genealogy.This article conducts a systematic and holistic study on the compilation and publication of the current genealogy from the perspective of publication,explores the reasons for its rise and its social significance,and then finds out the problems inits development by combing the current development and proposes improvements.I hope this article can provide some help and reference for the compilation and publishing practice and research of genealogy now and in the future,and can promote genealogy healthy and vigorous development in the future.
