With the growing importance of EMC testing in product development and production cycle, EMC testing is inevitably increased. However, the domestic standard EMC laboratory is usually built expensive, both the construction materials and equipments are imported. Therefore, such testing can only be carried out in the product delivery, because the high testing fees rise up to several thousand dollars an hour. Apparently, it is contrary to the full-cycle EMC testing and control idea of"design-develop-produce".To solve the problems, on the basis of the existing shielding room and semi-anechoic chamber, by using the spectrum analyzer and virtual instrument technology, the appropriate signal processing software and better EMC testing attachment are researched to develop low-cost testing methods. In EMC testing, the most important attachment is broadband measurement antenna.During the broadband EMC testing, from tens of Hz to tens of GHz, broadband EMC measurement antenna should be used to cover the band. In this paper, common broadband measurement wire antennas are developed, such as half-wave dipole antenna, biconical antenna, log-periodic antenna and conical log-spiral antenna. For each antenna, based on the analysis of broadband technology principle, the generalized design method and design example of the typical band are proposed; with the simulation and optimization of the electromagnetic simulation software, antenna parameters are partially adjusted; finally, the developed prototype antennas have also been test. Compared with the similar foreign antenna, some reasonable conclusions are given. |
