Research And Application Of Workflow Management System For Digital Product Design

In the process of continuous development of the computer technology, network technology and enterprise management level, the use of workflow management system in the digital product design will become a developing trend in this area. For the problems of multi-department, multi-personnel and multi-disciplinary involved in the process of digital product design, this paper uses the process of helicopter rotor design as the application background and makes research on the key techniques of workflow management. The main achievements are as follows:This dissertation makes a thorough study in the technology of workflow modeling. The modeling mechanism of general and optimization design workflow is proposed after comparing several workflow modeling methods and patterns. So it can realize the expression form of flow and graph for the process of digital product design.According to the characteristics of general workflow model, the workflow engine is developed. Its function is defined and realized, such as the control of running state of workflow instance, the execution of the workflow node and the management of running process of workflow instance. Besides, the running mechanism of optimization design workflow is also proposed according to the modeling characteristics of its own.After studying the structure of workflow management system, the web-based B/S three-tier structure mode is used to realize it. Then in the realization of system function modules, this paper uses the J2EE, XML and database technology to develop the workflow management system for digital product design—NUAA-WorkFlow.At last, the digital design of helicopter rotor blade is introduced into the workflow management system to do the experimental verification.
