As China has become a member of WTO, the development of insurance industry is accelerated in China, moreover, the focus of IT technology for insurance industry shifts from providing technique products to how to offer effective services to fast-changing business with sensitive adaption capability to market requirements. For database management purposes, we need to consider not only deploying database and rapidly updating business in time, but also how to share information resources with the same semantics in different databases.Usually, information query and display are particular designed for fixed database structure. However, with gradually increased business requirements, data items might change in database, which consequentially results in the variation of the database structure. Therefore, we propose a dynamic query and display method based on metadata in this thesis which is adaptive to database structure variation while doesn't modify query and display application. The basic idea is that by using metadata to describe the change of database structure, the application can dynamically inquire and display the results, in the meantime, the GUI of the application needs not to be redesigned and maintains the consistent user access interfaces. In addition, traditional approaches of data-fetching can't obtain remote data from local functions. However, with the development of data-fetching requirement through network, the business system needs to be supported by remote data services. For this requirement, a data sharing method based on data association is proposed in this thesis. The basic design idea is to create data association for distribution disparate data source firstly, and then implement data sharing via the association relationship. In our work, we establish distributed database on the network and create data association by which data sharing is fulfilled. Finally, the above achievements are successfully applied to claim scheduling system with implementing disparate data sharing and providing consistent view of data resource for systems in this area. Furthermore, when database structure varies, the GUI of the application remains constant and keeps consistent user access interfaces for dynamic query and display in claim scheduling system. The practical results demonstrate that the system has good scalability, facilitates the data association between an emprise and others, and ensures new applications can interact smoothly with the original system on the database level. To sum up, the work accomplished in this thesis has attained the expected design goals of the subject.
