Robots, as one of the greatest inventions of human beings of the 20th century, along with several decades of development, have been rapid changes taken place. In recent years, robots have become the hi-tech field representative strategic objectives.With the emergence and development of robot technology, not only the traditional industrial production has undergone fundamental changes, but also there is a profound impact on human society, with the rapid development of social production technology, robotics applications will continue to expand.Humans are now moving to the information age, information has become the main theme of the times, and then from information to knowledge-based intelligent robot has become an inevitable trend of development at this stage, the first intelligent robot has been the progressive development of industrial-type to non-industrial-and service industries, especially the recent popularity of intelligent service robot and intelligent entertainment robot is advancing the development of the robot to a new level.Instant messaging platform (IM Platform), as the most important interpersonal communication tool of the information age, more and more integrates many services of ordinary people in daily lives. Therefore, with the development of intelligent service robot, is bound and IM platforms the combination of the achievement of business services online and offline integration.This paper starts from the Tecent QQ software, and specifically describes how to base the designing and implementing the intelligent service robot on the IM platform. This paper first probably introduces the development of intelligent service robot status at home and abroad, followed by a detailed analysis of instant messaging software implementation mechanism and principle, and then from the needs of all aspects of robot design, such as shape design, functional design, communication between the robot and the server, the robot starting with the QQ number of such binding, in-depth study and implementation of a robot with Tencent QQ software, connectivity, and describes the robot by Tencent QQ in family life scenarios.
