Design And Implementation Of The System Of Managing National Defense Students

The National Defense Students are those students who enrolled through the National Entrance Examination, selected by universities and will be assigned to the Army after their graduation. The defense students'military training and administration during their studying will in the charge of the Reserve Office Selecting and Training Centre. With the expanding of the universities and the sharp increasing of the student number, the information about defense students increases rapidly, on the other hand, the Reserve Office Selecting and Training Centre is short of hands, so the problem stands out. In face of this, one students'management system is needed to improve the efficiency of university management.The defense student management system is the typical MIS. Its development mainly includes the buildup and maintenance of the background database and development of the front application programs. Concerning the former point, the database should be of consistency, integrality and security, and concerning the latter point, the complete function is required.This thesis is mainly about the development of the defense students'management system and its main process. The analysis studies the technical foundation of the personnel management system, adopts the framework analysis method to form the logical module of the defense students management system used by the Reserve Office Selecting and Training Centre in universities. Applying to the characters of being flexible and efficient of the popular Visual studio.NET and SQL Sever2000 database, the system has been especially designed to be used by the system for the defense students.The advantages of the system outweighs the manual management a lot, such as: it is easy to retrieve information, convenient to search for information, reliable, has huge storage, of security, high efficiency and lower cost etc. This system would improve the efficiency of the Reserve Office Selecting and Training Centre in various universities, and realized the modernization of the defense students'management. So the system studied in the thesis does have some certain practical value and actual meaning.
