With the development of science and technology, people are more and more demanding about intelligent house. In reality, TV, air conditioner, electric control lock, remote control curtain, video door phone and so on, each of them has a matched remote controller. Remote control technology brings convenience to people's daily life experience and at the same time, it also produces large amounts of passive power and causes energy waste. Passive power means the energy that part of electrical consumes to keep working after shutdown electrical equipment using remote controller in order to achieve the function through the remote controller at any time. At the present time, the popular remote control technology is to use infrared technology mostly. It has some drawbacks such like that short operating distance, not easy to pass through objects, and high-power and so on. This technology can not satisfy people's demand to pursuit more comfortable, convenient and environmental-friendly life. The remote controller using RF technology can achieve the result that far operating distance, easy to pass through objects blocking line of sight, and low-power (CR2032 button cell) and so on. It not only can satisfy people's requirements of intelligent house much better, and also we can achieve zero-power when electrical equipments are in standby state using RF technology, and so that we can make large saving in total precious energy. In this paper, we introduce the RF wireless remote controller that can achieve zero power in standby state mainly. The main contents are as follows:An overview of radio frequency identification technology and the development of radio frequency remote controller technology; Describe the problem of standby power and lead to how to achieve zero power when electrical equipments are in standby state using RF technology; To achieve the demand of zero standby power, it needs to demonstration project, design and implementation, and also needs to debug the circuits. Through repeated testing and improvement, it makes the circuits meet the design requirements so that achieve the radio frequency remote control system. Then we put forward the development of smart home and radio frequency remote control system and in the end, we summarize the core of this paper, and explain the results, value and meaning of the project.
