Design And Implementation Of Government Network Security System Rebuilding Project

All departments are more demanding for network as it develops and progresses constantly. With the supervision and control from the secrecy department and security department recently, the government especially makes more rigor request for network in its security and stability. The LAN in this article has been in use for 8 years, its Fire Wall, the degradation of exchange equipments and the inexistence of anti-virus equipment have had a negative impact on the building of safe network. Due to the low-level configuration of the equipment, the network does not have monitoring software. All the problems mentioned above had retards the progress and improvement for the informationization of government. What's more, the computer skills of the staffs are uneven, some would reinstall the system when they feel unsatisfied with the wire speed while some would reset the IP address to gain the access to Internet. All the problems emerged make it more and more difficult to surf the Internet in governmental departments. Therefore, it's very necessary to re-plan and rebuild the framework of network in the governmental departments to upgrade the safety.The article introduces the present situation of network in government to demonstrate the necessity of rebuild the network. In the principle of saving cost, the equipments available for use will be still kept after making a reasonable planning to network layout. The software& hardware environment is highly improved on the basis of the previous jobs, the article lists several software& hardware functional sectors to be realized respectively. According to the result of trial run, the system is stable and reliable and is more superior both in wire speed and practicability than the old system.At last, the article lists in detail the process of planning at the earlier stage, system integration, optimized operation and other phases of rebuilding tasks , which lead to the completion of the network rebuilding. The article also lists the timing phases for other similar network rebuilding for reference before planning.
