Electronic load which is a conventional electronic device plays a very important role in the process of a variety of electronic products' power performance testing. Electronic load monitor controlling system realizes the integrated management for the entire electronic load test system, whose performance affects the efficiency, cost and accuracy of power supply testing. With the increasing development of computer technology, especially of the development computer network and embedded systems technology, the automated and networked process of Power Supply Test System has been greatly promoted. Networked electronic load monitor controlling system can monitor and control multiple sets of electronic load devices and record analysis display the test data by using one set of monitor controlling device. Networked electronic load monitor controlling system which reduces the requirements of installation and the workplace of the load can save hardware costs while improving work efficiency and quality.This paper focuses on the integrated application of embedded technology and computer network technology in the electronic load monitor controlling system and designs a networked electronic load monitor controlling system based on ARM. First, we analyze the shortcomings of traditional monitor controlling system used in power electronic load test. According to the feature of electronic load monitor controlling system, we propose an electronic load network monitoring system based by using embedded technology and computer network technology in aviation power supply test system. After analysis and comparison of the strengths and weaknesses of embedded chips and embedded operating systems which could be used in electronic load network monitoring system from the parameters of performance, real-time, development environment, development and technical support, we use Samsung s3c2440 as the core chip is of the embedded hardware system, develop the visual communication control software by using Embedded VC++ based on Windows CE which is adopted as the platform of embedded system, achieve a unified electronic load network access ports and protocols and research the architecture and application development of embedded systems.Delphi is used as a development tool to design electronic load monitor controlling software on PC in order to achieve remote monitoring, multiple load control, data acquisition and analysis functions. After acceptance testing, this electronic load network monitor controlling system we designs can fully meet requirements for the automated networked testing of power supply test systems. It has been successfully used in the aviation supply test system with the praise of all the experts and plays an important role in promoting the development of distributed power supply testing. Finally, we summarize the research work and prospect for the future work.
