Field working, is not only limited to probers who probe mineral resources in the field, but also includes aspects of single-soldiers'field survivorship and night march. Recently, in the civil area, with the development of the economy and society, people are eager to exploit more energy resources to meet the needs of local development. The high speed of exploiting energy resources leads to many mine disasters; thus it is urgent to develop a set of equipments which will be able to protect the miners; in the military area, modern military theory penetrates deeply into wars, a solider is not only a simple the combination unit of solider and weapons, but also an independent military unit called single-soldier system. The most important part of single-soldier system is to monitor and protect the life symbols of field solider in order to cut down the rate of injuries and deaths. Therefore, the design of Field Work Control System is very thoughtful by many countries. From the published documents, the research of Field Work Control System is located in the primary stage in our country and more intensive study is needed.Currently, embedded technology is the hot concept in the field of science and technology, strong specificity, well real-time, easy clipping, powerful reliability, low power consumption are major merits of embedded technology. Therefore, the design of Field Work Control System based on the embedded technology is a extremely significant and profound issue. In detail, the thesis mainly focuses on the research and development of software and hardware of the Field Work Control System, which based on the Atmel ARM microprocessor At91sam9263 and Windows CE embedded operating system. During the stage of develop, the design of Field Work Control System is strictly in accordance with the flow of developing Embedded System, also integrates embedded technology, microprocessor technology, embedded operation system technology, message processing technology, bluetooth communication technology, GPS location technology into an unified, multifunctional, and practical platform. The main task of thesis includes: the establishment of the hardware and software of the system platform, and realization of the essential function of GPS and the communication function bewteen Bluetooth modules and the system. The task of Field Work Control System'design includes the following three steps:First, the hardware platform utilizes the At91sam9263 as the core parts of an apparatus, Peripherally adds Flash, Ethernet interface, UART interface, SD interface and LCD interface; In addition, the hardware connection of between Bluetooth modules and hardware platform is realized by expanding the serial ports of hardware platform, and the connection between GPS module and hardware platform in the same way.Second, after the accomplishment of hardware platform, the thesis elaborates the topic about the transplantation of embedded operating system Windows CE. Firstly, the thesis focuses on the research and implementation of the BootLoader (the Windows CE Start-up guide code). Secondly, give out the start-up analysis of the Windows CE and the course of porting the Windows CE5.0 Kernel to the hardware platform. Then, the implements of the drives such as LCD display, SD Card and Ethernet interface are based on the Windows CE kernel device driver model. The running of Windows CE kernel on the hardware platform is implemented in the end.Finally, after the accomplishment of hardware and software of the system platform, the thesis gives out two programmers: GPS navigation and position, Bluetooth communication and networking. The two application programs supply strong support to the Perfection of the system functions.The Field Work Control System has many merits: high efficiency in message processing, low power consumption, small system volume and so on. The platform of hardware and software presented in this dissertation can be used as secondary development platform for the design of embedded mobile equipment, and it also provide a general design platform for many practical applications.
