| GU Yewang's Yupian, completed in the ninth of Datong period of Liang dynasty (A.D.543), is another important work after Shuowen and Zilin in the history of linguistics. The original version of Yupian had gone through the Liang, Tang and Song dynasty three generations of the amendment, Since the Song dynasty's version of Yupian was published, Yupian, Before the Tang dynasty's version, had been lost in the country gradually. Fragments of GU Yewang's Yupian has been recovered from Japan by LI Shuchang, YANG Shoujing and LUO Zhenyu etc, and Song dynasty's version of Yupian is Completed, So, Longitudinally Study all aspects of the similarities and differences between original and the Song dynasty's Yupian, to explore the Situation of Yupian's development has been the focus of academic research. But, all versions of Yupian between and original and the Song dynasty's version have been lost, due to lack of materials, the feature of Yupian of this era, the connection and differences to the original and Song dynasty's version are in the air. Hui Lin's Yiqiejingyinyi of Tang dynasty is a masterpiece of sound and meaning of the ancient Buddhist scriptures, it has quoted a great quantity of Yupian. Quoted contents from Yupian included the character physique, the pronunciation, the meaning and so on, they are Valuable information about the study of Tang dynasty's Yupian.We can find altogether 1040 entries in the Hui Lin's Yiqiejingyinyi that quoted from Yupian. In this paper we will compare them to Fragments of GU Yewang's Yupian, Song dynasty's Yupian and Zhuanliwanxiangmingyi in the situation of embodied words and annotation, then we can draw the conclusion that the Yupian quoted by Hui Lin's Yiqiejingyinyi is the version with additions by SUN Qiang in Tang dynasty, moreover, we can get same knowledge of the original information of Yupian with addition by SUN Qiang and the relationships between this version and original version, Song dynasty's version. |
