The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) was developed by Joan Daemen and Vincent Rjimen and endorsed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology in 2001. It was designed to replace the Data Encryption Standard (DES) and be useful for a wide range of applications with varying area as well as vehicles security after its success in banking. This system is a new security system developed to secure keyless entry system and ignition key for automobile. Several devices have been offer to prevent car attacks, such as cars alarms, biometric recognition, GPS (Global Position System) and so on... All these existing systems are fail to meet user convenience. This thesis presents a new system to secure vehicles. That system is composed of two types of elements:one transponder and two readers incorporate into the door mirror and the dashboard. This system uses AES 128-bit to encrypt the data. The card transponder is used without contact, the user does not have to take it out for usage because the signal transmission is effected by inductive coupling between the reader and transponder system and it is activated without manipulation of the transponder. It was found that system increase vehicles security for now because most of the thieves don't know this system. Finally the use of that system was found to reduce carjacking if it cannot stop it completely.
