Research And Implementation Of Uighur Intelligent Input Method Based On Android Platform

On November 12th, 2007, The Open Handset Alliance has released Google Android SDK. Because of the Android's huge advantage of open source character, the operating system has became fashionable rapidly all over the world. The research in the end of 2010 has indicated that Android ,which has been released only two years has surpassed Symbian of Nokia, which has been the head of mobile field for ten years. Therefore, the implementation of Uighur input ing on Android system will play an important role to promote economic and information industry development in Xinjiang. Based on the characters of Uighur, this article has research ed and discussed the key technology about developing Uighur intelligent input method on the Android platform.The core of one input method is how to transfer words from library efficiently .First of all,we discussed the design of words library. Secondly,we expatiated on the establishment of the index table,arithmetic of query,and realization about affix auto-matching. Lastly, we emphasized the research on transferring words from library on Android system by JNI mechanism.In the process of implementing Uighur intelligent input method,we recounted the imple menttation of localization on Android platform firstly. Then in accordance with the theory of IMF on Android platform,we discussed the implementation technology on each module of Uighur intelligent input method in detail. This article mostly consist of the module of candi date view,the module of input view,the module of auto-matching of Uighur. And we have implemented functions of Uighur inputting,affix auto-matching,mix inputting and other functions on Android platform.
