Research And Implementation Of Intelligent Input Method For Mobile Phone Based On Smartphone OS

With the increasing popularity of hand-held communication devices, such as mobile phone, PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and so on, information processing and communication relies on them more and more. Word information is adopted by more and more people for its characters, such as fast, convenience and the low cost. And word communication has become another main application of hand-held communication device after the voice communication. How to input word information quickly and correctly to the hand-held device has become one of the hot researches in the field of information processing.In this dissertation, it first introduces the features and architecture of the Smartphone OS. The functions and general design thought are also introduced here. It discusses the exact techniques of Chinese input method on mobile phone and how to put into practice. After that, it puts much emphasis on the research of the design and implementation of intelligent input method (includes intelligent Chinese sentence-level input method, intelligent Chinese character stroke input method, intelligent text entry) on Smartphone OS, which includes the principle of Chinese intelligent sentence-level input technology and input method interface.Input Method Manager-Input Method Editor (IMM-IME) structure is one of the kernel groupware on Smartphone OS, it provides the strong support to development of input method. In this dissertation, the principle of Chinese keyboard input method on Smartphone OS is discussed. At the same time, the composing, process and key technique of input method based on IMM-IME, on Smartphone OS, are researched into. Combined with these techniques, the concrete steps of realizing Chinese keyboard input method based on IMM-IME is provided, and implemented successfully. The technology involved, such as the resource sharing of multi-thread and the communication of process, encodes conversion and so on, is analyzed in great detail. In this dissertation, the intelligent input method is based on IMM-IME, implements the intelligent input of character information. And the input method solves the problem of communication among input method, system and applications. We get the comparatively fine applying effects.
